Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos
Robot vacuums and mops are becoming more adept, passing our tests of cleaning and tackling various floor types. Find models that let you choose from multiple modes, use their charging docks to self-empty and clean the stairs.
Many of the top models are compatible with smartphones. Look for an application that lets you save maps, schedules and select cleaning modes.
1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
The gunmetal and gloss black Omni S1 Pro from Eufy is among the most impressive robot vacuums and mop combinations available. It uses lidar for navigation, creating maps of floors and rooms.
When I tried the S1, it was able to map the downstairs area, which has Linoleum flooring in the kitchen/dining room and bathrooms, along with carpeting with a medium-pile and an area rug. It was able to drive close to walls and even over thresholds that are raised without issue. However it had some issues navigating down the stairs in one go. The S1 did a good job cleaning hard floors. The mop sped along on its flat side and swung up when it was near carpets or carpets.
Prior to each mopping session the docking station of the S1 automatically emptys its trash bin and refills the water tank with clean ozonated filtered water. The dock adds an extra-deep cleaning solution to the water. The S1's water tank holds enough for about a dozen cleaning sessions before needing to be empty, but this will vary depending the amount you use the mop.
Like all 2-in-1 robots the S1 requires periodic maintenance to keep it working well. You'll need to wash out the dirty tank to keep it from becoming blocked. It is also necessary to clean the swivel wheels and sensors regularly to keep them from becoming clogged with dirt or dust. But, overall the S1 is easy to maintain, especially compared to other models that require more hands-on maintenance.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
Ecovacs all-in-one robot vacuum and mop is an efficient solution to your cleaning needs. Its robot vacuum boasts 8700Pa of suction and comes with numerous innovative features, such as full home mapping, voice control, and smart path-planning that eliminates obstacles and cleans around furniture. Its mopping capability is impressive. Rotating mop heads actually lift the floor and scrub it, rather than just dragging a pad across the surface. The mops are cleaned and dried in the base station as required.
The robot comes with an easy-to-use interface that guides you through the process. It comes with an electric hand vacuum that can be recharged to reach those areas the robot can't reach as well as two water tanks that are automatically empty and refilled as needed. It also has a number of useful settings for fine-tuning your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete does well at vacuuming, and has a powerful suction that easily picks up most of the debris, and even smaller bits of dust that other robots struggle with. Its navigation abilities are also quite good, though it could get stuck on small area mats and rugs at my home (which you can alleviate by defining virtual boundaries in the app). Mopping capabilities are excellent, with a pair spinning mop pads that can lift and scrub the floor instead of simply dragging the pad across it. The mops are also cleaned using heated water and dried in the base station when required. The mops are also refilled from the top of the base station as required.
3. Dreame X40 Ultra
Dreame launched the luxurious X30 Ultra earlier this year, but their new flagship robot mop and vacuum has more impressive features. It boasts fantastic cleaning results and hands-off maintenance, making it a clear contender for our best robot vacuum and mop list. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart detection and a larger side brush ensure an efficient, custom-designed clean is accomplished.

The X40 Ultra vacuums well, removing both fine and large debris. It works equally well on carpets and hard floors. It also cleaned our test's dirtiest areas well, avoiding tangled pet hairs and other mess. The sweeping capability of the machine is boosted by a sidebrush that automatically swings out in order to reach areas that are difficult to reach, and mop pads that run across baseboards.
Its navigation system is intelligent it can navigate narrow spaces and climbing the stairs without a hitch. It can move from one room to another without changing direction, which is a handy feature for homes with many rooms. Its obstacle avoidance system is not as advanced than other models however, and tends to leave a wide margin over obstacles, which can result in missed spots.
The app's interface is intuitive and well-organized. It should be simple to use for novice and experienced users. The app allows you to schedule and manage cleaning tasks. You can also adjust suction power, mop setting and look up 3-D and 2-D maps. It can be operated through the app, Alexa, Google Assistant or Siri, allowing you to keep an eye on its progress from any location. You can also use the X40 Ultra's camera remotely for real-time video supervision. You'll need a stable internet connection to access the app and external controls.
4. Roomba Q5 Pro
Robot vacuums are great at removing dirt and debris, but they aren't able to reach every speck of dust. It's essential to clean your home often, at least once a week. This is especially true for dust that collects in corners, on shelves, and in crevices in your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro is a 2-in-1 vacuum and mop robot designed to accomplish exactly that. vacuum bot is easy to connect to your WiFI network at home and works with Alexa or Apple Siri.
The Q5 is an edgier version of the company's pricier S-series models, including the flagship Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. It uses the same LIDAR mapping sensor, but cuts down on cost by eliminating mopping functions and using a less expensive plastic body.
The Q5 remains one of the most powerful mopping and vacuums we've ever seen at this price, even though it's not equipped to clean your floors. It has powerful 5500Pa suction and an automatic emptying system, so you don't have to empty the bin manually every time. It has a smart app which allows you to schedule cleaning and set the floor type. It also has an automatic water tank filling system and washing system to allow hands-free operation.
Its mops are also impressive, with 2700Pa of power to tackle dust, dirt and pet hair on both hard floors and carpets. The Q5 is among the few robots we test that didn't have issues with high-pile carpets or area rug, but it was unable to pick up kitty litter or cable tangles and cable tangles, which isn't a surprise since it does not include AI-powered obstacle avoidance.
5. K10 Plus
K10 Plus is the quietest robot vacuum we've ever tested. It also has a unique mapping system that allows it to reach tight spaces and corners that other vacuums can't. This device also stores dust in a bigger dustbin that means you have empty it less frequently. It also has washable filters, which reduces the cost. The robot is also able to detect carpets and increase suction if required. The app allows you to mark areas that you want it to avoid, which is a nice feature.
